β€œBuilding Reliable Solutions with Data, Software & AI”

Hi, I'm Sophie Ngo πŸ‘‹

Data & Technology Analyst

I work at the intersection of data, business, and technology - turning complex data, ambiguous requirements, and inefficient processes into practical solutions that teams can build, test, and use.

With 3+ years of experience across banking, B2B and e-commerce, and education technology, I bring hands-on experience in data analysis, technical business analysis, and quality assurance, with a strong understanding of how solutions move from business need to delivery.

About Me

My strength is connecting the dots between what the business needs, what the data shows, and what technology teams need to deliver.

Across roles with HSBC, Citibank, Global Sources, and SkillPixel, I have worked with different stakeholders, systems, datasets, and delivery environments. This experience has developed my ability to quickly understand unfamiliar business domains, clarify complex requirements, identify the right questions to ask, and translate ambiguity into actionable solutions.

My experience spans multiple stages of the technology delivery lifecycle - from data analysis and engineering to requirements gathering, process improvement, technical documentation, testing, and quality assurance. That breadth allows me to contribute beyond a single function: I can understand the business problem, work through the technical detail, and help ensure the final solution delivers what users actually need.

I am particularly interested in opportunities across Data & Technology Analysis and Technical Business Analysis, while remaining open to adjacent roles in data analysis, business analysis, technology delivery, QA, and digital transformation.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy mentoring students, attending technology events, and connecting with people across the industry. I'm always keen to exchange ideas, learn from different perspectives, and meet others working across data and technology.

I am available for full-time opportunities from September 2026 and hold unrestricted Australian work rights.
